Single sign-on (SSO) is a system that enables users to securely authenticate across multiple applications and websites by logging in only once—with just one set of credentials (username and password). SSO can mitigate risk for access to 3rd-party sites, reduce password fatigue from different username and password combinations, and reduce time spent re-entering passwords for the same identity.

IPOL by default supports SSO via Active Directory, which allows your users to easily enter IPOL if they are logged onto a Computer on your Domain. Only users who are setup and linked to a User ID in IPOL can access the system. Additionally, we can and have developed integrations for other proprietary SSO solutions.
